Howard Stern’s gift sets Ozzy Osbourne’s house on fire

Sharon Osbourne described the blaze on her show The Talk. The Beverly Hills Fire Station responded to the fire at around 5am Thursday morning after Sharon fell asleep before blowing out her lit candles.

Co-host Sheryl Underwood mentioned that she had bought Sharon a candle for Christmas, “I bought you a candle, and I was worried that it was the candle I bought you.”

Turns out it wasn’t Sheryl’s candle which started the fire. Instead the “oily-waxy candle” had been a gift from Americas Judge Howard Stern.

Sharon added that Ozzy had just had an operation on his hand on and had a full cast, yet he tried to use that hand to put out the fire.

“Ozzy’s front of his hair from his ear down is, gone! His eyebrows are gone, he’s got skinned cheeks. We are like two idiots, it was like ‘The Three Stooges.’ Everything you are not meant to do we did.”

Howard Stern hoping for a “miracle” return of Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne says she had a double mastectomy after learning she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer.

Osbourne told Hello! magazine that “I didn’t want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me.”

The 60-year-old “America’s Got Talent” judge, who had colon cancer a decade ago, said that without the surgery, “the
odds are not in my favor.”

She added: “It’s not ‘pity me,’ it’s a decision I made that’s got rid of this weight that I was carrying around.”

Leann Rimes and Shannen Doherty are reportedly on NBC’s wishlist to join America’s Got Talent.

Carly Simon is also said to be on the shortlist to replace Sharon Osbourne on the show’s judging panel, reports TMZ.

Show producers are allegedly searching for a “strong and opinionated” female to take the seat of Osbourne, who quit the show in August.

Howard Stern said back in August that he is hoping for a “miracle” return of Sharon Osbourne to the panel.

Sharon Osbourne officially quits AGT

Sharon Osbourne has decided to bow out from her judging position on NBC’s America’s Got Talent after this season.

Osbourne made the announcement on last night’s program when trying to console a dance group by saying, “Don’t be sad, because it’s my last show, too. So we’re leaving together!”

Deadline Hollywood reports NBC is already in the process of finding a replacement. Howard Stern stayed quiet about the subject. He doesn’t have a contract beyond this season but the network is clear they’d like him to return.

Robin Quivers to replace Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent?

Ever since Sharon’s been saying she wants to leave AGT,” said Stern. “I get calls from people saying they want to be the new female judge on AGT, and I explain to them that I don’t have anything to do with it other than I’m just a hired hand. It’s strictly a job.”

“They want you to put in a good word for them—drop their name,” said co-host Robin Quivers. “But you’d better be dropping mine!”

Stern said he’s already submitted Quivers’ name for the job:

“I told people that you would be a good judge over there. I don’t know what they do about it, but I’ve put your name in.”

Sharon Osbourne quit America’s Got Talent after NBC fired Jack

Update from Sharon Osbourne on Twitter:
Please don’t misunderstand. I love NBC/AGT with all my heart and will of course finish out the season. It is still one of the best shows on tv.

Osbourne has quit America’s Got Talent after accusing NBC of axing her son Jack from a new show when they discovered he had multiple sclerosis.

The outspoken 59-year-old revealed last month that she was leaving the telly talent show, on US network NBC, in a cryptic tweet to fellow judge Howard Stern.

She wrote: “My darling Howard Stern, money is not the reason I’m not returning to (America’s Got Talent), it’s because…”

But the mum failed to elaborate on the situation.

Now she has told the New York Post her decision came after Jack was allegedly dropped from another NBC show, Stars Earn Stripes — which pits celebrities against one another in military training exercises — when he went public with his health battle.

She blasted: “I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled.”

Producer David Hurwitz told a press conference in Los Angeles last month that former Adrenaline Junkie star Jack was never officially hired.

But Sharon and Jack allege they were moving forward with the TV show plans on a verbal commitment.

Sharon Osbourne quitting AGT

America’s Got talent, but it no longer has Sharon Osbourne … ’cause the AGT judge says she’s QUITTING the TV show for good.

Osbourne — who has been with “America’s Got Talent” since Season 2 — cryptically announced her exit from the show via Twitter on Tuesday, saying “My darling @howardstern, money is not the reason I’m not returning to @nbcagt, it’s because …”

Howard Stern is “quite odd”

Osbourne said Stern is very particular about all things, USA Today reported.

“Picky about everything, really. About everything,” says Osbourne. “‘You’re making too much noise, turn the music down, don’t slam the door’ — like that.”

“He won’t let anyone in the dressing room, and, see, I’m nosy. I like to have a good mooch around to see what everyone’s up to. Always. And nobody’s allowed in. He’s got two big bodyguards that are outside his room,” she added.

Sharon Osbourne on Working with Howard Stern

In case you’ve been under a rock, Piers Morgan has been X’d out and Howard Stern has joined the judges table on America’s Got Talent.

“This man is going to help this show go to a whole new level,” said Howie Mandel.

“Oh don’t don’t take it too far,” added Sharon Osbourne.

It’s a job Stern takes very seriously.

“I take notes,” Stern pointed out.

Actually they all take judging very seriously.

“Do you know how serious we are about judging that even when we go back to our hotel room at night we’re going over the contestants and re-judging them again in our mind,” Osbourne explained.

“We are taking it so seriously, particularly you. He will call the producer and say he thinks he made a mistake in judging and then beg, beg to have this act back to have another chance and fly them to another location so that we can see them again,” Mandel said about Stern.

“They’re talking about this band we saw and I went home and had the pang, this guilt that I had sent them away,” Stern explained.

Of course, each has that certain something they’re looking for.

“Individuality,” Osbourne said.

“It’s simple, you want to see them again and you have to believe that America will want to see them again, it’s that simple,” Stern added.

And then there’s a certain something between the three of them, a chemistry, or closeness unlike what you’ve ever seen before on the show.

“How close are we, as judges, that Howie would lay down on a table and Sharon and I would remove his blackhead from his ear,” Stern said.

“If you can’t trust your fellow judges who can you trust,” added Mandel.

I guess we’ll just have to watch to see what acts on stage are more bizarre than that.

The new season of America’s Got Talent starts May 14th at 7 p.m.
