Ted Cruz Attacks Crazy John McCain Supporting War Hawk on Arab Spring

Ted Cruz the CanadianPresidential candidate Ted Cruz on Friday got into a heated exchange with a voter who accused him of supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad.

“I came from New Jersey to ask this question because it’s so important to me,” said John Davenport, a Fordham University professor who directs the school’s peace and justice studies, during a town hall at Lancaster Elementary featuring the GOP presidential candidate.

“Supporting Assad is a mistake. He’s the reason that ISIS exists in the beginning. What are you doing?” asked Davenport, who based his allegation that Cruz supports Assad on the failure of Congress to remove the Syrian leader from power.

“Now, your question begins with a false premise,” Cruz said to Davenport. “You asked me if I’m supporting Assad. I’m not supporting Assad.”

Cruz said President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton led the 2011 NATO effort to topple Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, claiming the intervention created a vacuum that allowed the rise of radical Islamic terrorists. He suggested the same thing would happen in Syria if the U.S. ousted Assad.

Davenport passionately explained that Assad had killed 200,000 innocent Syrians. We have heard these claims before. Saddam throwing babies out of incubators, Putin “kills” journalists, Iran is going to nuke Isreal so we have to attack them, Russia invaded Crimea, Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

University professor John Davenport is not going to sign up and be on the front lines of any wars. He wants your children to fight a foreign war based on his emotions. He has created a narrative in his mind and feels bad, as we all do, about the situation in Syria. Making up figures like “Assad has killed 200,000 innocent Syrians” to add fuel to an already horrifying conflict is evil. The American people are sick of war.

“We will not have a debate, Sir. I will answer it, but I will not have a yelling match,” Cruz said forcefully, as Davenport again tried to get a word in. “Alright, this answer is over,” Cruz shouted as the crowd erupted in applause.

Sarah Palin Endorses Donald Trump

Sarah Palin Endorses Donald TrumpSarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, endorsed Donald Trump 2 weeks before the Iowa caucuses.

“Are you ready to make America great again?” Ms. Palin said with Mr. Trump by her side at a rally at Iowa State University. “Are you ready to stump for Trump? I’m here to support the next president of the United States – Donald Trump.”

Her support is the highest-profile backing for a Republican contender so far.

“I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement,” Donald Trump said in a statement trumpeting Mrs. Palin’s decision. “She is a friend and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”

Sarah Palin endorsed Ted Cruz during his Senate race in Texas.

“I love Sarah Palin. Without her support, I wouldn’t be in the Senate. Regardless of what she does in 2016, I will always be a big fan,” Cruz said.

“Whats extortionary about Ted Cruz is that he just fulfilling campaign promises.” – Sarah Palin

Is Ted Cruz Eligible To Be President?

Ted Cruz Cartoon WCQJDuring an interview with the Washington Post, Donald Trump said primary voters should consider where Ted Cruz was born before voting for him. Ted Cruz does not hide the fact that he was born in Alberta, Canada.

“Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question: ‘Do we want a candidate who could be tied up in court for two years?’ That’d be a big problem.” Trump, discussing Ted Cruz eligibility to run for POTUS.

As you may know, under the Natural-born-citizen clause, The United States Constitution requires the president be a natural-born citizen.

“It’d be a very precarious one for Republicans because he’d be running and the courts may take a long time to make a decision. You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head.” Trump added.

Ted Cruz was automatically granted American citizenship at birth since his mother is an American citizen. In an interview with CNN, Cruz responded to Donald Trumps question about his eligibility.

“The legal issue is straightforward, the son of a US citizen born abroad is a natural-born citizen.” Cruz answered.

Some background information on the topic. The US Constitution does not define what natural-born citizen precisely means. People have their own opinions but constitutional and legal scholars say the term comprises:

All people born subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, including, generally, those born in the United States, those born to U.S. citizen parents in foreign countries, and those born in other situations meeting the legal requirements for U.S. citizenship “at birth”.
