Some of President Trump’s most hardcore base turned on the president Friday over his decision to launch military strikes against Syria without Congressional approval in retaliation for an alleged chemical attack by Syria’s President Assad.

“Fuck Trump, and fuck these fucking people,” said Alex Jones, before bursting into tears. Alex Jones has been referred to as “the man who got Trump elected” by the mainstream media due to his early, vocal and unrelenting support during the 2016 campaign.

“If he had been a piece of crap from the beginning, it wouldn’t be so bad,” Jones said of Trump. “We’ve made so many sacrifices and now he’s crapping all over us. It makes me sick.”

Many Trump supporters have lost jobs, friends, family members during the campaign because of their fervent support for him. The Syrian strike has come like a slap in the face for most of President Trump’s hardcore base – and Trump could seemingly care less.

Trump himself tweeded against a potential Syria strike without Congressional approval back in August 2013. “The President [Obama] must get Congressional approval before attacking Syria – big mistake if he does not!”

“I haven’t had Trump call me in six months,” said Jones. He was streaming live from the Infowars studio Friday night because President Trump had just announced a strike on Syria. “I will tell Trump that you really betrayed your family and your name, and everything you stood for with this horse manure.”

“I shouldn’t even be live right now,” he said. After a couple of calmer sentences, Jones started to yell again: “Fuck Trump!”

“I’m not in a fucking cult for Donald Trump.”

Syria has always been a dividing point between Trump’s online base and America’s right-wing politicians, left-wing politicians, mainstream media.

“Attacking a foreign nation that has not attacked or threatened America is globalist interventionism. This is not America First. This is not what Trump was elected for,” tweeted Infowars writer Paul Joseph Watson in a message shared by Ann Coulter.

Trump launched the attack on Syria before any international evidence of President Assad’s supposed chemical attack had been presented. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 11, states: “Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence.”
