Howard Stern Reacts to President-elect Donald Trump Winning: “People Love You”

Howard started the show by congratulating Donald Trump on winning U.S. Presidential Election. Howard said now he’s the president and you hope for the best. Robin agreed and reiterated, you want him to be the best ever.

Stern was also pleased with medical marijuana legalization in a few more states. Howard said doctor-assisted suicide was approved in Colorado too. “We allow dogs and cats to be put out of their misery so why not human beings.”

During the broadcast, Stern recalled a conversation he had with President-elect Trump when he ran into him at a restaurant in April 2016.

“He sat down at my table and we were talking,” Stern said. “I said, ‘People love you.”

“If things go wrong — not even because of his own fault — and the economy starts to falter, then you’re everybody’s fucking scumbag. Everyone’s like, ‘Fuck him.’ Why would you want that for the last 10 good summers of your life? I don’t get it. And I said it to him, ‘Don’t do this to yourself.’”

In 1988, Oprah asked Donald Trump if wanted to run for President. Donald Trump told Oprah he’d only run for president under one condition. Trump would only do it, he said, if The United States of America gets really, really bad. Which it obviously has.

“Probably not. But I do get tired of seeing the country get ripped off. If it got so bad, I would never want to rule it out totally, because I really am tired of seeing what’s happening with this country. We’re really making other people live like kings, and we’re not.”

Howard wondered if he’ll build the wall, round up illegal aliens and throw them out of the country and if there will be a ban on Muslims. Howard asked if there is any discussion about Donald Trump being able to do the show anymore. Robin said the answer is absolutely no.

Howard said jokingly that some people are advocating President Trump appoints him to be on the Supreme Court. Maybe he read our article here on WCQJ.com: SUPREME COURT JUSTICE HOWARD STERN?

Howard Stern Forbes Money ListAfter two years as a runner-up, Oprah Winfrey was named the most-powerful celebrity last week by Forbes, heading the six women and four men who make up the top 10.

Singer Lady Gaga came in second, followed by director/producer Steven Spielberg and singers Beyonce and Madonna.

“There is nobody else with that kind of consistency and power,” said Dorothy Pomerantz of Forbes.com.

“There are only three people who have been on every single one of our lists since 1999. It is Oprah, Howard Stern and Steven Spielberg.”

Stern lost on an attempt to revive his lawsuit against Sirius claiming that the satellite radio company owes him $300 million for reaching certain subscriber milestones.

Even without those millions Stern is well compensated, earning $95 million a year, making him the 3rd highest paid celebrity in the world. In addition to the money he gets to produce his SiriusXM show, Stern is paid a reported $15 million to serve as one of the judges on America’s Got Talent.
