Joe Rogan Reacts to Louis C.K. Stand-Up Comedy Return: “I don’t think Louis C.K. is a bad guy at all.”

It’s been a little over a month since Louis C.K made his attempt at a return to stand-up comedy.

Louis C.K made a surprise appearance at New York’s Comedy Cellar, where he performed a 15-minute set to a standing ovation. It was his first high-profile public performance since November 2017, when he admitted to having masturbated in front of multiple unwilling women.

For Louis C.K’s fans, his 15-minute set was a welcome return to comedy. He’d taken his medicine, was the general argument, and now it was time for the public to let him come back to comedy as a changed man.

“Will take heat for this, but people have to be allowed to serve their time and move on with their lives,” wrote actor Michael Ian Black, in a tweet he later apologized for. “I don’t know if it’s been long enough, or his career will recover, or if people will have him back, but I’m happy to see him try.”

“I don’t think Louie is a bad guy at all. I think what Louie is, is a pervert,” said Joe Rogan during his JRE #1165 podcast. “He’s not trying to hurt people. He’s just weird.”

Elon Musk Discusses the Danger of AI (Artificial Intelligence) with Joe Rogan

SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, also known as the real-life Tony Stark, has done a few live long-form interviews in recent years.

Recently a Twitter user suggested Musk go on Joe Rogan’s podcast and he responded positively to the tweet.

“A lot of people whose judgment I respect have suggested this. Sounds like a good idea. Will do so after Model 3 production reaches 5k/week steady,” said Musk.

Joe Rogan then officially extended a personal invitation via Twitter to Elon Musk last week. “Elon, anytime you’re ready you’ve got an open invitation,” said Rogan to which Musk replied, “Thanks! Have heard universally great things about your podcasts.”

A few days ago the two got together inside Joe Rogan’s studio. The interview started off with Joe asking Musk how he finds time to do everything. They spoke about The Boring Company’s underground tunnel projects and how Musk recently sold 20,000 flamethrowers. Joe brought up robots and artificial intelligence. Both Musk and Rogan are truly worried about AI and the danger of AI.

Humans will one day represent a small percentage of intelligence according to Musk. He thinks it’s important for people to slow down with artificial intelligence. The interview is fascinating, have a listen for yourself below.

Musk ends the interview by expressing that he just wants to make things people love, things that bring them joy, to make the future better. He loves humanity and thinks it’s great unlike many in Silicon Valley, who are racing towards a future in which AI (Artificial Intelligence) replaces humanity.
